The Beauty and the Challenge of the Circle

“The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be only the beginning.”

Ivy Baker Priest, 1905-1975.

An American political figure who served as Treasurer of the United States under president Dwight D. Eisenhower.

How do you know the difference between a beginning and an ending? Is there a difference? Have you ever been in such a place in your life where you were not sure?
Do you believe that all things, all life, are or is a circle? If so, how can there be beginnings or endings. The answers to these questions may require that you get down to the bare bones, or to the structure or framework of your beliefs.
What is interesting to consider is how opposite your feelings and emotions can be for each of these two things.

In one case you may be devastated and overwhelmed by the ending of something.

In another instance the end can actually bring great joy and release.

You may grieve deeply at the beginning of something.

You may be inspired at the beginning of something else.
So perhaps what matters most is just that you allow yourself to have the experience by allowing yourself to have the feelings.
Is this the beauty and the challenge of the circle?
